Merritt RCMP seeking assistance from the public in identifying shoplifting suspect

Merritt RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual in connection with three separate shoplifting occurrences in January.
In a press release to Q101 News, Cst. Blake Chursinoff of the Merritt detachment said the culprit has stolen hundreds of dollars ‘ worth of different merchandise from a local business.
The male is described as Indigenous, standing between 5’6″ and 5’10” tall, with short, shaved, dark hair and a small mustache and goatee. The male was observed wearing different clothing on all occasions, as pictured.
“This type of behavior is unacceptable. If anyone knows who this individual is, please come forward and speak with the police. said Chursinoff. “We all pay the price, literally, for individuals who take advantage of and steal from business operators within our community. The Merritt RCMP will do everything within our ability to complete this investigation, and we need the public’s assistance on this one.”
