The man charged in the death of 45-year-old Pamela Jarvis made a very brief court appearance on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Christopher Jarvis appeared via video conferencing at the Merritt Courthouse, charged with second-degree murder in the death of his ex-wife.
It was the 49-year-old’s third court appearance, with another court date set for Feb. 3, when it’s expected he will choose either to be tried by a judge or by a jury.
On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the mother of six was found with “serious injuries” at a house in Merritt, but she succumbed to her injuries at the Nicola Valley Hospital later that afternoon.
Christopher Jarvis has made two previous court appearances (December 17th and January 6th), and he will remain in custody.
More to come…
