A travel advisory has been issued for the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt today (Sat. Dec 20) as high winds and heavy snowfall are expected to hamper driving conditions.
Environment Canada says between 10-20 cm is expected today, with 10-15 cm tonight and another 10-15 cm on Sunday.
Drivers can expect major delays on the highways due to winter weather conditions, and you should consider an alternative route via Highway 1.
