Merritt searches for new CAO

The City of Merritt is once again looking searching for a Chief Administrative Officer following the recent departure of Cynthia White after just two years on the job.

Mayor Mike Goetz confirmed to Q101 that White has moved on and quote “we are looking for a replacement.

White moved into the CAO position in September of 2023 replacing the departing Sean Smith.

Rick Green will serve as acting CAO until the position is filled.
