Race to End Hunger Food Drive at Merritt Speedway

The Race to End Hunger Food Drive will be featured at this weekend’s stock car racing event at the Merritt Speedway in Shulus.

Drivers from throughout the region will be competing for valuable points for driver standings on Saturday and again on Sunday at the track located at 2255 Mammitt Lake Branch Rd.

On Saturday, spectators who bring a non-perishable food item to the event will get five dollars off their admission.

Saturday’s races begin at 5:00 p.m. with time trials with racing starting at 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday time trials begin after the Pit Meeting at 10:00 a.m. with the racing getting underway at 11:00 a.m. with the final race with the Mini-50 cash special.
