Highway Advisories in effect for overnight (May 18)

Motorists travelling back from their Victoria Day long weekend will want to pay close attention to the roads over the next 24 hours.

Environment Canada has issued four (4) highway advisories for the region.  Wet snow has accumulated on summit passes this weekend so roads could be slick.

The advisories are for:

• Coquihalla Highway   – Hope to Merritt
• Coquihalla Highway   – Merritt to Kamloops
• Okanagan Connector -Merritt to Kelowna
• Highway 3 – Princeton via Allison Pass

The weather agency says drivers could see up to five centimetres of snowfall until Victoria Day Monday on the highways and remind you to please use caution when driving this weekend.
