The McHappiest Day of the Year: Sekhon

Today is the McHappiest Day of the year as McDonald’s Restaurant here in Merritt are joining with hundreds of other McDonald’s franchaises to raise money across the country for children’s charities.
Last year, a total of over $150 thousand was raised by the McDonald’s franchaises in Merritt and Kamloops.
Store owner/operator Brandy Sekhon says the support they have received from the community has been outstanding.
“I’m just so proud of the support that Merritt has given us over the years,” said Sekhon. “It doesn’t matter what is happening in the community, they always come out in full force.”
Today when you make any purchase at McDonald’s proceeds go to Ronald McDonald’s Family Room located at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
