Environment Canada has stayed its snowfall warning for the region today on two fronts. The weather agency issued the warnings on Thursday as a Pacific frontal system moved into the region this week bringing precipitation in the form of snow to the Interior.
The Coquihalla from Merritt to Hope is expected to received between 20 to 30 cm of snow throughout this weather maker and will no doubt see winter driving conditions throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton via the Allison Pass can also expect close to 30 centimeters over the next 24-hour period.
