BREAKING: Slippery road conditions expected this morning, reduce your speeds on highways.

Motorists can expect very slippery conditions on the highways near Merritt this morning after yesterdays snow and rain.

Drivers are being cautioned to slow down on highways throughout the region as slippery conditions and slush continue for most areas including Highway 5 and 5A to Kamloops, Highway 8 to Spences Bridge and Highway 97C and 97D to Logan Lake.

Those who ventured out onto the highways yesterday took to social media, saying multiple vehicles were off the road.
