Slippery commute today for roads surrounding Merritt

If you are heading out of the city this morning ( Dec. 20 ), Drive BC warning that many of the highways surrounding Merritt will be slippery such as Highway 5 and 5A to Kamloops.

If Kelowna is in your destination today, the Connector has slippery sections, limited visibility between Trepanier Rd and Pennask Summit and compact snow from Brenda Mine Rd. to West Kelowna.

Highway 5 to Hope will see crews working to remove a vehicle this morning near Comstock Rd.

Highway 8 also has compact snow and slick driving conditions today between the Dot Ranch Cut off and Merritt.
