Highway 5 and Connector reported snow covered this morning

Motorists travelling on the highways this morning should expect snow covered sections to their commute first thing this morning.

Highway 5 from Merritt to Kamloops is reporting slippery conditions this morning between Exit 256:Coldwater Rd and Exit 336: Walloper Interchange. There is snowfall accumulation this morning near the Helmer Road as well.

Highways 5A (the old Kamloops road)  between Merritt and Kamloops also reporting slick driving conditions today with flurries expected throughout the day.

Meanwhile the Connector (highway 97C) to Kelowna is reporting slippery driving this morning with snowfall throughout the day today.
