Merritt residents invited to Special Council Meeting on 2025 budget

Merritt residents will get a chance to review and discuss the 2025 proposed budget for 2025 on Monday night.

Mayor, council and city staff are inviting the public to a Special Meeting of Council at 4 p.m. at Monday in council chambers.

The city’s finance department will present the proposed 2025 City of Merritt budget to city council in hopes of ratifying the document before its May deadline.

The Special Meeting of Council is open to the public. Those who wish to be part of the process but can not attend the meeting can access it by going to the city’s website and watch a live stream.
