Tony Luck wins Fraser Nicola riding in B.C. Provincial Election

The new MLA for the riding of Fraser Nicola has been chosen.
Former Merritt city councillor Tony Luck will be the ridings new representative in the provincial legislature replacing out going Jackie Tegart who did not reoffer after serving the area since 2013.
Touted the front runner following Tegartโs announcement , Luck garnered 10,146 votes well ahead of the NDPโs Francyne Joe who tallied 6,716 votes with Jonah Timms receiving just 1,697 votes for the Green Party in his second attempt to secure the riding for the NDP.
Luck took to social media to thank his supporters.
