Road work and bus cancellations slated for today (October 17)

Motorists who use Juniper Drive and Parker Drive will encounter a traffic interruption today (October 17 )
from 7:00 a.m. until noon.

City crews will be conducting utilities work on Juniper Drive down Parker towards Grimmett St.

Traffic control personnel will be on sight directing single-lane alternating traffic as one lane
will need to be closed off to complete the work.

Meanwhile B.C. Transit has also announced that the following trips have been cancelled due to a shortage of drivers
today. (October 17).

– BUS 2 (shared bus) will be CANCELLED

– Route #1 North End 9:15am, 10:15am, 1:15pm, 3:15pm CANCELLED

– Route #4 Lower Nicola 8:12am, 2:12pm CANCELLED

Service is expected to resume on Friday. Check the cancellation on their website
