BREAKING NEWS: Nicola Valley Emergency Room Closed for Second Time in Seven Days

For the second time this week there will be no emergency room hours at the Nicola Valley Hospital today.

Merritt and area residents are advised that due to limited physician availability,  emergency services will be unavailable from 8 a.m. Sunday, September 29 to 8 a.m. Monday, September 30.

This marks the 14th emergency room closure for the Nicola Valley Hospital this calendar year, after 19 emergency room closures in 2023.

Patients can access care at Royal Inland Hospital at 311 Columbia St, Kamloops.
