EARLIER: Merritt RCMP have once again put out a call for help as they look to track down a wanted man they consider “armed and dangerous”.
Earlier this summer (June 7), an arrest warrant was issued for 37-year-old Ron Karlson, for failing to comply with his probation and release orders.

In 2020, Karlson was also arrested in connection with a home invasion and vehicle theft along with another person.
Karlson is described as:
- 5’9″ tall
- 170 lbs
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Cross tattoo on left hand, other tattoos on right hand and neck
Anyone who sees Karlson is asked not to approach him but to call 9-1-1 or the Merritt detachment at (250) 378-4262.
