FIRE UPDATE:Evacuation Order Expanded – Laluwissin Creek FSR and Turnip Lake – Shetland Creek Wildfire

A revised Evacuation Order has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) due to immediate danger to life safety caused by the Shetland Creek Wildfire, effective as of 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Approximately 1 addressed property, and all properties outlined on the attached map have been newly placed on Evacuation Order.

This Evacuation Order is now in effect for approximately 83 addressed properties in Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country).

Approximately 15 addressed properties have been downgraded from Evacuation Order to Evacuation Alert.
