BREAKING: Amateur-built amphibious aircraft crashes near Merritt

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSBC) has confirmed that a plane crash took place on Sunday (July 28) near Merritt.
“We are deploying investigators to the scene,” TSBC spokesperson Liam MacDonald reported on Monday (July 29).
MacDonald said the incident occurred one nautical mile northeast of Merritt Airport and involved an amateur-built amphibious aircraft.
