Music in the park concert series kicks off tonight

It’s become as much of a summer tradition as ice cream and swimming at Monck Park and it all begins tonight…Music In The Park.

The annual summer concert series kicks off tonight at the bandstand in Rotary Park featuring singer-songwriter an recording artist the Alton Dean band  beginning at 6:00 pm.

Concert goers are reminded that with the hot and humid temperatures today, it would be prudent to bring plenty of water and sunscreen with you as well as an umbrella and lawn chair or comfort.

The Music In The Park concert series runs every Thursday throughout July and August from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
