Despite the cold and wet conditions this past Fathers Day weekend, the 2024 Bar Bender X-Country Race was another huge success according to organizers.
The annual event now in its 13th year, was hosted by the Nicola Valley Dirt Riders Association (NVDRA) is in conjunction with the Pacific Northwest Motorcycle Association and the WesternOffRoad Championship series and saw 374 registered racers take to the terrain in the Lower Nicola-Chataway Lake area, including 30 local racers.

Local organizers with the NVDRA were pleased with the turnout despite the inclement weather and were excited that ten local racers were able to stand on the podium placing in the top three in their class.
