Highway Advisory Issued for Father’s Day Weekend

Travelers wanting to visit dad this Father’s Day weekend could run into some inclement weather.
Area highways could experience some snowfall this weekend.
Environment Canada says the that could be affected are:
- Okanagan Connector between Merritt and Kelowna
- Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt and Merritt to Kamloops
- Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton via the Allison Pass.
These highways could all see up to five-cm-of snow accumulation over the weekend as a cool airmass moves into the Interior.
Motorists are advised to check conditions and weather forecasts before getting behind the wheel, and be prepared for changing conditions.
