Early morning robbery has RCMP looking for suspect

The Merritt RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect in an armed robbery.

Shortly before 2:00 am  this morning (Tuesday June 4) a suspect entered the 711 at the corner of Nicola Avenue and Voght Street, brandishing a knife, and made off with cash from the register.

The suspect is described as a being:

• approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall,
• 160 pounds, skinny,
• wearing a distinct blue hoodie with an indigenous headdress logo on it,
• blue jeans and a paintball mask.
