Merritt Fire Department Looking for Recruits

The Merritt Fire Department is looking for more community heroes to step up and help protect the City of Merritt.

The Department is continuing their spring recruitment drive looking for paid-on-call volunteer fire fighters. While no firefighting experience is needed, applicants will have to

pass a criminal record check and a physical fitness test. The Merritt Fire Department currently has 25 paid-on-call members.
