Environment Canada has once again issued a special weather statementĀ for the regionĀ as a cool airmass will bringĀ two to four cm of snow on the mountain passes today bringing tricky driving conditions to the area.
The local highways affected include:
-The Coquihalla to Hope
-The Coquihalla to Kamloops
-The Connector to Kelowna
-Highway 3 Hope to Princeton
Environment Canada reporting this morning that the snow levels are dropping below pass level for most high elevation travelers routes this morning. Some snowfall is expected, then as snow level rises near midday it will transition to rain showers.
Motorists are urged to check Drive BC for highway information throughout the day.
