MERRITT — There are no active flood advisories or warnings for the Merritt area as of 6:30 a.m. (January 31st, 2024.)

The current flood watch and flood warnings are for Coastal Regions only.

The City of Merritt monitors river levels regularly. The City monitors daily and even more so when water levels are on the rise.

Merritt is also in regular communication with Provincial weather and environmental data notification centres.

Merrittonians can monitor the latest alerts at BC Flood Warning & Advisory.

You can view Real-time Stream Flow from the BC River Forecast Centre for the Brookmere Station on the Coldwater River. Locals can also see the Nicola River Outlet from the lake.
