Centennials Michael Felsing and Kiernan Poulin gear up for All-Star Weekend

MERRITT — Two Merritt Centennials are gearing up for the All Star weekend starting tomorrow in Penticton.

Smooth skating defenseman Keirnan Poulin will represent the Cents in the Prospects game as he looks to garner the attention of NHL Scouts.

Top Scorer Michael Felsing will play in the All Star Coastal vs Interior game and participate in the Skills competition as well.

Felsing is having a breakout season with 10 goals and 28 assists, good for 38 points in 34 games with Merritt.

Kiernan Poulin has 4 goals and 10 assists, 14 points in 31 games with the Centennials.

The All Star game takes place Friday and Saturday in Penticton.

The Centennials are back in action January 26th to kick off a four game homestand against the West Kelowna Warriors. The Cents will be looking to avenge their last two losses to the Warriors, where they lost 5-0 and 6-2. Both games were played in West Kelowna.
