TNRD to Host Information Meeting for Adams Lake Area Residents

ADAMS LAKE — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) will be having a virtual meeting today, Friday, August 25th at 1:30 p.m.

Residents and property owners of the Adams Lake area will be informed about all the recovery operations going on.

There will representatives from the BC Wildfire Service, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and BC Hydro.

This public meeting is being held specifically for property owners and residents within this area of the TNRD. Specifically those who had their properties damaged by the Bush Creek East fire.

On August 23, 2023, the TNRD confirmed structure impacts on 11 properties as a result of the Bush Creek East fire. The damage occurred in the area southwest of Adams Lake.
