Police involved in an Amber Alert for two B-C children allegedly abducted by their mother say the three were last spotted together, with two other people, on July 7th, Merritt.
Eight-year-old Aurora and 10-year-old Joshuah Bolton have been the subject of an Amber Alert since Wednesday.
Surrey R-C-M-P say its serious crimes unit has taken over the investigation.
On July 7, Verity, Aurora and Joshuah were confirmed to be travelling through the Merritt area.
Through video surveillance from a gas station in Merritt, police have also confirmed Verity Bolton was travelling with a large travel trailer and two men thought to be her father and boyfriend — along with her children.
The father has primary custody of the kids and their mother was supposed to give them back after a vacation on July 17th.
Police say they believe the children are at risk and are concerned about their mothers’ mental well being.
Police say that anyone spotting the vehicle or the suspect should not approach and should call 9-1-1.
