MERRITT – The summer full of Street Markets began over the weekend.
There was lots of vendors and smiles filling the streets of Quilchena Avenue as residents shopped local goods.
Sarah Molnar from Beyond Brambles was on hand and shared her excitement to be back at the Street Market, along with giving advice for the rest of the season.
“It’s pretty exciting. It’s pretty steady but not crazy busy. I just want more people to come downtown and hangout in our beautiful streets. I think if we had some food vendors that would be amazing, some treats for people to have while they walk around.”
There are six more Street Markets planned throughout the summer.

In between Street Markets, the Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday next to the Baillie House.
