TNRD asking publics opinion on the renaming of a road

MERRITT – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is asking residents their opinion of the possible renaming of a road in Lower Nicola.

According to the TNRD, a process was recently completed by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to correct the name of Aberdeen Road to Aberdeen Mine road, due to previous geographic information issues.

Now, the TNRD is asking the public feedback whether to keep it Aberdeen Road or change it to include Mine.
