No major injuries after a small airplane crashes into Merritt Airport

MERRITT – A small airplane crash at the Merritt Airport led to one man sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

Cst. Jon Puterbough with the Merritt RCMP said the lone individual got caught in a wind gust and crashed his small Ultralight plane into the airport.

Puterbough added he is suffering from non-life threatening injuries but was being airlifted to Kamloops for precautionary reasons.
