Merritt returns to zero weekly COVID-19 cases

The BC CDC has released the latest local health area COVID-19 data, covering the week of June 13-19.
After seeing cases spike two weeks ago in the Merritt area to nine, the CDC is reporting zero COVID-19 cases in the area this week.
The nine cases two weeks ago were attributed partially to a trio of cases at local elementary schools.
The Merritt area has now recorded single digit, or zero case increases for 11 weeks in a row.
The map from for the week of June 13 to 19 shows just ten cases in the Kamloops area, down from 12 the previous week.

- Enderby – 0 (unchanged)
- Salmon Arm – 2 (up by 1)
- Revelstoke – 1 (unchanged)
- Central Okanagan-Kelowna – 57 (down by 43)
