Merritt records nine weekly COVID-19 cases

As expected, the Merritt local health area has seen an increase in weekly COVID-19 case for the period of June 6 -12.
After recording zero cases last week, the area has jumped to nine confirmed cases of the virus.
The increase comes as at least three cases have been tied to schools in Merritt with two cases at Central and one at Bench.
Despite the leap, the Merritt local health area has now recorded single-digit case increased for 10 weeks in a row.
The Kamloops area had 12 new cases last week.

- 100 Mile House – 0 (unchanged)
- South Cariboo – 3 (up by 3)
- Lillooet – 0 (unchanged)
- Vernon – 38 (down by 4)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 0 (down by 6)
- Enderby – 0 (unchanged)
- Salmon Arm – 1 (down by 2)
- Revelstoke – 1 (up by 1)
- Central Okanagan-Kelowna – 100 (down by 15)
