Merritt records zero COVID-19 cases last week

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest local health area COVID-19 data covering the week of May 30 – June 5, announcing zero new cases in Merritt. Last week there was five cases.
The local health area has now recorded single digit case increase for nine weeks.
This is the first time Merritt has recorded zero cases since December 2020.
There were 15 COVID-19 cases in the Kamloops area for the week. That’s down from 20 the week before.

- 100 Mile House – 0 (unchanged)
- South Cariboo – 0 (unchanged)
- Lillooet – 0 (unchanged)
- Vernon – 42 (down by 15)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 6 (unchanged)
- Enderby – 0 (down by 1)
- Salmon Arm — 3 (up by 3)
- Revelstoke – 0 (down by 1)
- Central Okanagan-Kelowna — 115 (down by 60)
