PICTURES – Merrittonains gather at Spirit Square to remember the 215 children

On Monday evening (June 1), Merritt residents gathered at Spirit Square to remember the 215 children who’s remains were found buried on the site of the former Kamloops Residential School.

The event included a drum circle, as well as songs and speeches from members of the community.
