Merritt records three new COVID-19 cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest community COVID-19 date for the week of May 16-22, announcing three new cases in the Merritt area.
The local health area has now seen seven consecutive weeks of single digit increases, including last week where there were two new cases.
The BCCDC website shows 22 new cases of the virus in the Kamloops area. That is down from 32 cases the previous week.

- North Thompson – 1 (unchanged)
- 100 Mile House – 0 (down by 4)
- South Cariboo – 0 (unchanged)
- Lillooet – 2 (up by 2)
- Vernon – 16 (down by 3)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 2 (down by 1)
- Enderby – 1 (up by 1)
- Salmon Arm — 6 (up by 2)
- Revelstoke – 0 unchanged)
- Central Okanagan-Kelowna — 224 (up by 39)
