Merritt man charged for allegedly keying a vehicle
On March 16, 2021, the Merritt RCMP reporting that multiple vehicles parked on Quilchena and Coldwater had been allegedly keyed.
On May 11, 2021, Mr. Colin Wade MacDougall was formally charged with one count of mischief under $5,000, for allegedly keying a motor vehicle on March 2, 2021. MacDougall is scheduled to appear next in Merritt Provincial Court on July 20, 2021.
Merritt woman charged for impaired driving causing bodily harm
On March 13, 2021, the Merritt RCMP responded to a pedestrian being struck and pinned between two vehicles in the 21000-block of Granite Avenue. The driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the pedestrian was arrested on scene as part of an impaired driving investigation.
On May 11, 2021, Ms. Nina Jackson was formally charged with impaired operation causing bodily harm and operation while over 80 BAC. She is scheduled to appear in Merritt Provincial Court tomorrow, on May 18, 2021.
