Merritt records seven new COVID-19 cases

The rate of infection in the Merritt local health area appears to be leveling off.
After a month of seeing cases jump between single- and double-digit increases, April 11-17 marks the third straight week of single digit case increases.
The BC CDC is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19 in the area.
It follows weeks off seven, six, 22, six, 15, and five.
For comparison, the Kamloops area saw 44, Kelowna registered 242.

- South Cariboo – 2 (up by 1)
- Lillooet – 0 (unchanged)
- Vernon – 41 (down by 15)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 2 (down by 4)
- Enderby – 6 (up by 4)
- Salmon Arm — 13 (unchanged)
- Revelstoke – 11 (down by 10)
