Merritt bank worker charged with theft and fraud
“A complex internal theft investigation into the alleged actions of an employee of a Merritt area financial institution, has resulted in the criminal charges being approved by the BC Prosecution Service,” said Sgt. Josh Roda.
BC imposes new COVID-19 restrictions
BC Health Officials have introduced several new restrictions aimed at slowing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in British Columbia.
“We’ve started to see the start of exponential growth,” said Dr. Bonnie Henry.
SD 58 clarifies new mask mandate
School District 58 Nicola-Similkameen has sent a letter home to parents to clarify the new mask mandate in the district.
Shackan Indian Band elects new Chief
Arnold Lampreau has been elected Chief of the Shackan Indian Band defeating Incumbent Jordan Joe in Saturday’s vote.
