The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest COVID-19 figures for the Merritt area, announcing six new cases of the virus for the week of March 14-20, 2021.
The return to single-digit cases comes after confirmed cases spiked last week to 15. Two weeks ago the community recorded just five new cases.
For comparison, the Kamloops area saw 56 new cases last week, Kelowna recorded 70.
