Fate of BCHL season pushed to this week

The final decision on the 2021 BCHL regular season was expected to come down on Friday afternoon.

However, following a BCHL Board of Governor meeting the choice was made to push the decision to early this week.

An official statement from the league office stated that the league is still in discussion with the Provincial Health Office regarding the BCHL’s final return to play proposal.

An update in expected sometime this week and will likely either signal the start of a condensed schedule of games or the cancellation of the season.
