Snowfall warning in effect for Coquihalla

Snowfall warning in effect for:

• Coquihalla Highway – Hope to Merritt

A weather disturbance moving across southern British Columbia will continue to bring snow to portions of the Coquihalla Highway – Hope to Merritt and Highway 3 – Hope to Princeton via Allison Pass. Additional snowfall amounts of 5 cm can be expected this morning before the snow eases.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
