The Nicola Valley Institute of Technology has made the move to continue teaching the spring semester in an online format only.
The post-secondary school has been strictly online since November, and prior to that was offering students a hybrid instruction model. The Institute has now stated that online learning will remain in place for the duration of the semester ending on April 30.
A select few programs will continue to be taught in-person at the school due to their hands-on curriculum. That applies to courses like health, trades, culinary, and RNET.
The Merritt campus is also closed to the public.
