Wanted Merritt man believed to be in the lower mainland

The Merritt RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in locating a wanted Merritt man.

“The Merritt RCMP are requesting assistance from the general public with the efforts to locate Jesse Joseph Cyr, who has an outstanding arrest warrant. Cyr faces charges stemming from an incident on June 19th, 2011 near Merritt B.C,” reads the release from Cpl. Brock Hedrick.

Cyr has three charges leveled against him;

Count 1,  Impaired driving causing bodily harm;

Count 2,  Cause an accident resulting in Bodily Harm;

Count 3,  Dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

Cyr is believed to be living in the Lower Mainland.

“If you have any information in relation to CYR’S whereabouts please contact the Police Detachment of jurisdiction or call the Merritt RCMP at (250) 378-4262,” added Hedrick.
