Public Health Restrictions Extended
Dr. Bonnie Henry has announced that the public health orders put in place in November to curb the spread of COVID-19 have been extended.
The orders will now be in place through the end of day on February 5, 2021
“In the past days we’ve been seeing a small increase in cases and the curve is bending back upwards,” said Henry. “We must hold the line.”
The restrictions limit sports activity, public gatherings, events, and more.
On Thursday, Dr. Henry announced 761 new cases of the virus, including 96 in the Interior. Active cases currently sit at 6,349 with 372 people in the hospital and 74 in the ICU.
