RCMP Music Ride Preforming In Merritt Aug 7th

 

RCMP Musical Ride coming to Merritt this summer.

 

The Rotary Club of Merritt is bringing time-honoured tradition to the Merritt Rodeo grounds Aug 7th.

 

After seeing the performance last summer is Kamloops, President Marlene Jones says it seemed like the perfect event for Merritt.

 

“It’s a great Canadian event. It has been going for many years. Approximately 30 officers participate on horseback, and its sort of a precision drill type of event set to music.”

 

The RCMP Musical Ride has existed since 1873, and preforms at approximately 40 venues each year in Canada and internationally.

 

An announcement about tickets sales will be made in the coming weeks.
