Postal workers hitting the picket lines in Merritt.
Local 758 CUP-W President Patricia Nauss says there will be no mail delivery today as postal workers in the region are taking their turn at rotating job action.
Nauss says there is no end in sight to the dispute with Canada Post although both sides are spending the next four days in mediated talks.
"They are coming to the table with the same things and are not willing to negotiate. We decided against working overtime last week and will continue the strikes until Canada Post gets serious about negotiating."
Nauss also says job action is taking place today in Kamloops, Penticton, Vernon, Quesnel, and Williams Lake.
Rotating strikes began across the country back on Oct 22nd.
