Sentences handed down for the two men charged following a shooting incident at Merritt house party.
On Tuesday in BC Supreme Court, Michael Drynock of Merritt was sentenced to 21 months in jail, and Kleon Pop of Williams Lake was sentenced to 29 months, less time served for the incident that occurred back on April 23rd. 2017.
Both were credited with 26-months served, meaning Drynock is no longer in custody.
The pair were found guilty of possessing weapons back in July, after the judge presiding over their case ruled that it could not be proven without a reasonable doubt which of the two men fired a gun that night.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
