The BC government is expected to make an announcement this morning regarding Kinder Morgan's controversial Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
Both Attorney General David Eby and Environment Minister George Heyman will be on hand.
The NDP campaigned against the $7.4-billion project, and in their power sharing deal with the Green Party struck last month pledged to use "every tool available" to stop it.
However, late last month Eby said the government would not deliberately stall permits for the project, over concerns it could land them in court.
Construction, which would bring more than 600 jobs to the Merritt area, is slated to start next month, and be competed by the fall of 2019.
