Adele takes her crown back on the Top 20 Countdown with "Hello" coming back into the number one spot. After spending one week atop the Countdown, R.City gets demoted to the number 2 spot while Taylor Swift once again rounds out the top 3. The X Ambassadors hang onto the number 4 spot, and Meghan Trainor also hangs onto the top five with her John Legend duet, "Like I'm Gonna Lose You."
Big climbers include Shawn Mendes "Stitches" which leaps up 8 spots from last weeks 16, off the strength of the Handwritten re-release. Alyssa Reid also jumps back into Countdown contention, while Marianas Trench and Rachel Platten both make their debuts. Justin Bieber is poised to have two songs in top 20 next week as "Sorry" makes an impressive debut at 23.

The Top 20 Countdown has put away all of the Christmas Decorations leftover from last years charts to bring you new songs and a brand new number one.
R.City featuring Adam Levine are finally crowned at Number One, passing right by Taylor Swift, whose hopes of hitting number one will have to wait another week as "Wildest Dreams" comes in at number two. Former number one track "Renegades" by the X Ambassadors is the number three song this week. Adele, after setting the new benchmark for a number one song at six weeks, falls to four and rounding out the top five is Elle King with "Ex's and Oh's"

New additions to the countdown include the New Electric, Ria Mae, P!nk, and RudimentaL featuring Ed Sheeran. Alyssa Reid and Ellie Goulding return to the countdown after falling out of the 20's last week.

Adele bested the other singles for six weeks but this week, a Christmas Carol curiously shot to the #1 spot, as Seal's "This Christmas" tops the list. 
"Hello" by Adele was the #2 song and in the #3 spot was R.City feat Adam Levine with "Locked Away."
Seal tops the charts for the first time in 20 years, when "Kiss From A Rose" began a 12-week tour of duty atop the AC charts.

The X Ambassadors hung onto their Top 5 status with "Renegades" staying in the 4 spot, while Taylor Swift may have had her dreams of #1 dashed. Swift falls to #5 this week with "Wildest Dreams."

The list still has a few Christmas decorations to put away, as five Carols are still charting in the Top 20. Train, Jann Arden, The Tenors and Michael Buble all have their carols still charting.
